Potluck 2017

Potluck 2017 was our incredible inaugural conference, held at the Hudson Loft, DTLA. The two-day event was a huge success and brought together industry leaders from all over the country to discuss the ever evolving business of social occasions.

Potluck 2017 featured noteworthy speakers and panelists, and extensive opportunities to engage with other participants through the all-day coffee lounge, rooftop wine bar, and our signature discussion format, Table Topics.

I believe it is a truly worthwhile investment for anyone working in hospitality and events or anyone running a service business of any kind.
— Nicole Arena, Green Ribbon Parties

I had the privilege of attending the Potluck Hospitality Conference this year. I came away feeling energized and inspired with new ideas. Despite being in the events industry for several years, I was still able to meet many new people and connect with them in a meaningful way. The panels were informative and the content was applicable to so many different areas from marketing and social media to graphic design and legal issues. There were many takeaways.

Potluck was an amazing conference, because exposed me to people I would otherwise never have the opportunity to meet. I say “people” because it was actually the faces behind the names. Every aspect was thoughtful, special and rewarding. I would go multiple times a year if given the opportunity!
— Stephanie Karvellas Baynton, Cedar Lakes Estate

What was created with the Potluck Hospitality Conference was a perfectly balanced mix of art and business, food and service. The Conference showcased what the event service industry should stand for - innovation, collaboration, consistency and unwavering dedication to guest experience.
— Lauren Jones
I knew I wanted to attend the moment I saw the speaker list! As someone who has been in hospitality and events their entire career, this event was perfect for me and made total sense. I am very happy with my decision to make the investment since it only can benefit me, my career and educationally. I think we need more conferences like this. You learn much more and take more away from it then you would in any classroom. Can’t wait for the next one! I left inspired and excited!
